Alex Cross Trailer Released

Tyler Perry is one of those actors I'm not sure if I should take seriously, or not seriously at all. Well, luckily he's moving away from Madea, and taking on some lead roles (as a man, at least) including his newest role as James Patterson's Alex Cross. Taking the reigns from Morgan Freeman, who played Cross in the films Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider. The thing I found the most interesting about this trailer, was not seeing Perry in the role of a serious action hero, but seeing who was the villian of the film, Matthew effing FOX!

What Happened At E3 This Year?

So, as everyone in the gaming world is aware, E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) happened earlier this month.  Always an exciting time for us.  Time to see what new gadgets each company has in the works, new game play footage for games we are eagerly awaiting, and breathtaking trailers that will leave us squealing for weeks.  I feel like this year, as a whole, was a tad underwhelming compared to previous expos, but I'm here to touch base on some of the things I'm pretty stoked about anyway.

You Need to Know-Grimes

I again find myself in the strange position of wanting to review an album I've fallen head over heels for, but not knowing where to even start. You need to listen to "Visions," by Grimes. Plain and simple...it's wonderful. When I put it on, I don't want it to end. To say she has a voice unlike most is an understatement. To call this music she's making 'electronic' isn't exactly accurate, either. It is, but that's not it. It isn't cold in a purely mechanical, robotic way. It's quite bubbly, in fact. I hope to hear much more from this young artist, though I have no idea what direction she will go, or where I'd even like her to go.

Since I'm not sure how to review this rather than recommending you pick up a copy, I'll include a link to the review Pitchfork gave it:
