The cast of Beaucoup Pop is back, bringing you everything you need to know about whats going on in the pop culture world...and maybe some things that you didn't need to know, BUT WE GIVE IT TO YOU ANYWAY!!!
Do not attempt to adjust your screen...that's really the name of the episode. You can thank Justin for that hilarious little number (give the show a listen...you see).

We are truly taking 2012 by storm Poppers!!! This week’s episode is packed full of yummy goodness. First, we do a small review of Tinker Taylor Solder Spy, where the girls (as usual) swoon about Mark Stong...and his Oscar worthy face.
"Don't..interup...the face!" |
Then, we’ve got our artist of the mont, the amazingly talented Sara Richard (see below), joining us for a chat about her art, up coming projects and the wonders of dinosaurs.
Finally, we delve into the new year with a run down of what to expect from your favorite pop culture genres. Seriously...what more could you want?!?! Baby sloths? Well, we’re short on those, but we promise this is the next best thing.

Kitty & Dino by Sara Richard.
When a little boy brings home a dinosaur egg, the cat of the house isn’t too keen on the tiny creature that pops out. But after a few weeks of showing the new baby the ropes, a bond forms between kitty and dino that transcends species.
This 48 page hardcover book will be published through Yen Press, and available on April 9th!

That Harley Quinn piece is perfect. If I don't get a sketch from Sara one day my life will never truly be complete.
I know!!! She was amazing on the show too. I always find it easier to hit up some artists before they go to the convention. Tell them that you'll be there and that you'd like a commission. More often than not, they'll have it ready on the first day! As an artist I actually LOVE it when people do that...gives me a chance to really take my time on it. :)
I'll have to try that this year. I always hit Wizard Philly and Baltimore. Any other conventions are up in the air. I'm going to check her website now to see where she'll be this year.
@Matt - I can't begin to tell you how many times I've listened to Santigold's "You'll Find a Way" from the Fame soundtrack. But get this, I've never listened to one of her albums. Weird.
Chirs! Get her self-titled album right now! It's so amazing! I thank my friend Becky for introducing me to here. You may also check out Kid Sister and VV Brown, two more artists that started listening too around the same time I picked up Santigold.
@Chris-You should come to C2E2 in Chicago!!! I know Sara will be there and we will be too!!!
I'm looking at the details right now. Do you all drive out?
@Chris-Yes...we usually bring back too much swag to fly it back HAHA!
