Episode 56 - Convention Highs and Woes

The cast of Beaucoup Pop is back, bringing you everything you need to know about whats going on in the pop culture world...and maybe some things that you didn't need to know, BUT WE GIVE IT TO YOU ANYWAY!!!

We’re officially back Poppers!!!  How we survived two weeks without you, we'll never know. Boy do we have a lot to talk about.  Not only did we attend the third annual C2E2 in the windy city of Chicago, but we also made an appearance at S.P.A.C.E. Con!  Head on over to www.beaucouppop.tumblr.com to view pic, vids and some audio from C2E2 and SPACE. More on the way!!

That’s not all! This week we interview the awesome Mr. Jeremy Whitley,  writer of the Eisner nominated comic book series Princeless!!  He gives us some back story on how the ever growing popular book came to be, and what’s in store for the brave Princess Adrienne. Check out issue #1 for free below!

What the Hell's Going on Here?

What up Poopers!...errrr, Poppers!! @_@ That typo was WAY to funny to correct. LOL!

So hey, the BCP gang took last weekend off from recording for some much needed rest as we come down off the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention and (some of us) prepare for C2E2 next weekend and SPACE the following weekend.

Since April is such as Convention heavy month for us, we are unable to record new episodes for two weekends. Now wait, wait....back away from that ledge! You'll still be able to get your daily dose of Geekery! How so? First, we took the chance to post one of our older episodes, Episode 25 - Inside The Nostalgia, where interview Caseen Gaines, author of the book Inside Pee-wee's Playhouse, an extensive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the hit television show Pee-wee's Playhouse, as well as the rise, fall, and rise again of the Pee-wee Herman phenomenon!!

More of C2E2. We check out a bunch of really cool toys coming out and see lots of cosplayers! We also got to visit several panels on Saturday. My (Matt's) camera went kaput around this time so I had to scour the internet to find some decent pics and videos to use as filler. Thanks internet!! The music used in the video is "Running" by Computer Magic.
