Just a reminder that the FORGE Gaming Convention is this weekend! The first round of events kicks off at noon on Friday, May 25th (also known as Geek Pride Day, Towel Day, and the release date for Return of the Jedi). Registration will open Friday at 10:00 am. If you haven't preregistered, do it now by clicking here. You may have missed out on the free t-shirt but there are tons of other freebies that come with the badge (10% off at many of the vendors, over $30.00 retail value in free downloadable books, and much more). You can always purchase your badge onsite, but why not avoid the lines?
Event registration can only be done onsite, so take a look at the catalog and start planning your days.

As with any event in a downtown area, other events will be going on during the convention. So parking is at a premium. Please carpool if you can, it's good for the environment, cheaper for you, and more fun. Here is a link to some information about the convention center and parking.
Be sure to check out FORGE's feature article in the Lexington Herald Leader's Weekender edition, and see some of the FORGE Team in character on WKYT's 10:00 am news program on Thursday.
AND DON'T FORGET, the Beaucoup Pop gang will have a table set up with some AWESOME raffle prizes, many of which were donated by our awesome local retailers Amazing Wonders and Collectibles Etc! Tickets will be $2 each (or 3 for $5 or 10 for $10!!), so buy a lot and help support the podcast. The vendor area will be FREE to the public!
