How would you describe your artistic style and were their any influences that led to its development?
I would describe my art as lose traditional impressionistic 60 and 70 cover art. I have been influenced by many artists but the two I keep going back to a lot are N.C. Wyeth and Jeffery Catherine Jones.

What's the strangest commission you've ever been asked to do?
My art is a little dark, so strange could be consider normal for some of my pieces. I once was asked to draw Batman on a baseball which was kind of cool.

What are your favorite tools/utilities to use when you work on a piece?
Pencil, paper, oil paints, and canvas.

What types of pieces will you have for sale at DCCC and can you give us an idea of prices?
I will have prints, original sketches, sketch book, and original oil paintings. Prices will range from $15 for prints to near $1000 for original paintings.

What other conventions are you planning to attend for this con season?
Show after Derby: Otakon, Chicago Wizard Con, possibly Toronto, Baltimore Comic Con, Cincinnati Comic Expo, Mid Ohio, Detroit FanFare, New Orleans Wizard, and a few more to be added later.

To ensure her safety as she begins to learn more about her powers, her father enrolls her into the magical school, Magia High. Unlike most schools of the magical realm in today’s popular media, Magia High does not discriminate toward non-humans. Megan quickly learns she could be taking Pre-Calculus with a centaur and a garden gnome while a minotaur gets sent to the principal’s office for texting in class. This is no ordinary high school! Thankfully, she befriends a brash and tough troll named Tori, and a scrawny yet powerful wizard named Bernard. The three form a bond as Megan discovers that her powers are being sought after by dark forces…
