The man behind the heroes. |
We're shaking up the format this week Poppers...mainly because one of the bigger news topics, the new Watchmen comics, leads us straight into our weekly discussion about Jack Kirby! We also do a little ranting about creator rights and we make a plea to our listeners to not fall into the "hater hole". But we balance it out with some love...or at least a lot of laughter!

Building off of your Lee/Kirby discussion, here's a great documentary on Steve Ditko by the BBC's Jonathan Ross. It has Neil Gaiman, Alan Moore (singing!!!), Mark Millar, etc. It's in 7 parts. There is a great section where Ross interviews Stan Lee about the feud he had with Ditko over ownership of Spider-Man. It's really worth checking out.
